Honors
By exhibiting excellence in academics, I have been privileged enough to receive scholarships and other honors, which I have listed below.
Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society
Second Year Award 2016
Founded in 1897, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society is dedicated to the love of learning and welcomes and honors students of all academic disciplines. In 2016, I was invited to be a member and given the Most Outstanding Second Year Award. This honor is awarded to students who enrolled as a true freshman and completed at least 60 hours of coursework by the end of their sophomore semester with a cumulative GPA of 4.00. I was also nominated for the Susan Stacy Entrenkin Yates Scholastic Achievement Award in 2017.
Kappa Omicron Nu Honor Society
Initiated 2016
The Kappa Omicron Nu Honor Society is for high achieving students in the college of Human Sciences. In order to be invited, they must have completed 45 hours of coursework and rank in the top 25% of their class.
